RIP Yael "Ellie" Freedman - Firestore Founder

Nate and Ellie Freedman opened New York Firefighter's Friend on Lafayette Street in 1991. For the next dozen years Ellie's warmth, and welcoming smile, was a fixture behind the counter of the Firestore.  Ellie was an undying advocate for NYC's First Responders.
